BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION Congratulations to Miss Carter's 2nd grade students in room 29 who collected 250 Box Tops and are April 2010's Box Tops Champs! Terrific job! Going GREEN!! The recycling project initiated last year will continue. Classes collect all of the recyclable paper throughout the school and they invite you to recycle with them. Please make use of the bin provided by Abitibi in the Dawe school parking lot. Click the Going Green link above for acceptable items.

Take Charge of Education Program

Shop at Target and use your Target Red Card or Target Visa Card. We will receive a percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education program. Just call 1-800-316-6142, or visit target.com/tcoe to designate our school. (We are registered as Dawe Elementary - our School ID # is 60107). Pull Tabs - Remember to collect the pull tabs from your easy-open cans. These tabs benefit the Shriner's Hospital for Children of Boston. Please collect them all Summer long and send them in to school with your child. This program gives much-needed funds to the hospital to help purchase supplies needed by the patients such as wheelchairs, lifts and special equipment.
