Box Tops For Education 
The next Box Top collection will be Wednesday, November 30th. The June, 2011 winner was Mrs. Bartlett's 2010-11 4th grade class. A belated congratulations to them! This year's first winner was Mrs. Jasmin's 5th grade class for September 2011. Great job! Recycling 
Going GREEN!! The recycling project will continue. Classes collect all of the recyclable paper throughout the school and they invite you to recycle with them. Please make use of the bin provided by Abitibi in the Dawe school parking lot. Click the Going Green link above for acceptable items.

Take Charge Of Education Program 
Shop at Target and use your Target Red Card or Target Visa Card. We will receive a percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education program. Just call 1-800-316-6142, or visit target.com/tcoe to designate our school. (We are registered as Dawe Elementary - our School ID # is 60107). Pull Tabs 
Remember to collect the pull tabs from your easy-open cans. These tabs benefit the Shriner's Hospital for Children of Boston. Please collect them all Summer long and send them in to school with your child. This program gives much-needed funds to the hospital to help purchase supplies needed by the patients such as wheelchairs, lifts and special equipment.
